Secondly, the attention to detail at this hotel was impressive. From the beautifully furnished rooms to the full facilities provided, it was clear that the hotel went the extra mile to create a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Finally, the location was perfect. The staff was really helpful and provided us with maps and information on where to find nearby restaurants and shops. The location was great, with easy access to sightseeing places in the area. We also enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of the place, which made us feel right at home.
Our experience was marred by the fact that the room was quite small and had narrow stairs leading up to it. This made it difficult for us to navigate and we ended up tripping and falling a couple of times.

This hotel in the neighborhood of Kyoto exceeded our expectations in so many ways. the value for money was outstanding - we got so much for what we paid. Secondly, the staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. They even provided us with maps and tips for exploring the city, just like Mori from one of the reviews mentioned. Lastly, the rooms were spacious and well-equipped with ample storage space. We particularly loved the full kitchen, which allowed us to cook our own meals when we didn't feel like eating out. And oh, the breakfast at the nearby bakery was simply delightful - a perfect start to our day.
All in all, everything was really okay - we had a wonderful stay!

The hotel had a spacious and clean living area and kitchen with all the necessary equipment. the bathroom had a washing machine with drying option and shampoo. the staff were friendly and provided tips on interesting areas to visit nearby. the hotel was in a quiet and peaceful location, close to shrines and other places of interest.
The stairs were steep and could be a challenge for some guests, especially those with mobility issues. the nearest convenience store was relatively far away, making it inconvenient to get everyday items.
